I love reading “Empties” posts and vlogs because you can get a true impression of what someone thinks of a specific product. This batch of empties is for a couple months but hope you enjoy reading about a few of my favorites and a few that I didn’t like!
(In no particular order)
Biore’ Blemish Fighting Ice Cleanser: I liked this, and the “cooling” feeling, however it didn’t do enough for me to say I’d buy it again.
Dove Cleartone Skin Renew Deodorant: Dove is my favorite brand of deodorant – The clear tone line helps get rid of any skin discolorations that can occur in that area. I like the nice clean scent and its ability to keep me going all day!
Victoria’s Secret Pure Seduction Fragrance Mist: I purchased a few of these travel sized bottles last Christmas and have been gifting or using them up. I really like this scent, and originally, I didn’t think I would. Its quite fruity but not overbearingly so. (If that even makes sense!) It is red plum & freesia and all I can say is you have to check it out if you like slightly fruity scents! I would consider this again in the future, when I work though my massive body spray & perfume sample stash!
Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel: Hands down my favorite moisturizer. Its a little pricey and I’ve looked for drugstore dupes but can’t seem to come with one that even comes close to what this does for my skin without making me oily or greasy. I already have a new one. 🙂 If you have combo oily/dry skin, or oily skin – consider getting a sample of this at Sephora. I recommend this to friends quite a bit.
Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief gel-creme: Another favorite of mine. I’ve looked for dupes on this and am still looking! I love how this is an extra “drink” for my skin, especially in the winter. It is a thicker gel but absorbs super fast into my skin leaving it feeling soft and not greasy. I tend to use this mainly at night. I use it quite a bit during the cold & dry winter months, and rarely in the spring & summer. I used my Sephora VIB sale to pick up a new one!
Bumble & Bumble Surf Foam Wash & Creme Rinse Conditioner: Not a fan at all, I saved it to share that this didn’t do much for my hair and left it feeling greasy and weighed down. I have thick – fine textured hair and this seemed to just be too heavy for my hair. I wouldn’t buy or recommend this!
Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous foundation in #810: OMG. I LOVE this foundation. It is lovely, light, and buildable. I apply it with my real techniques expert face brush to give it a airbrushed finish. I like its powder-like finish that doesn’t leave me shiny by mid-day, and its ability to stay put and last all day. I already bought another one!
Maybelline DreamLumi Touch in Radiant: Another LOVE! I have dark (blue/purple) under eye circles. Mainly its because my under eye skin is super thin and lack of sleep can just make it worse. After trying lots of ways to help conceal these lovely reminders to sleep more…this has become my go-to in the drugstore world. I am currently trying a new one from Sephora that would fall into the high end category, but I’ll let you know what think of that. Right now, this one is still the one I’m reaching for on a daily basis and I’ve repurchased it.
Sally Hansen Green Tea + Bamboo Nail Strengthener: I like this and have repurchased it, however I’m not sure I’m going to buy more. It works alright, but I am still noticing some peeling on my nails every now and then so I’ve been experimenting with a couple others. Right now – I’m going to try some others before repurchasing.
Perfume Samples: I have a bag from Sephora that is pretty full of those little sample sprays that you can get with every order. I love to get perfume samples because I like to travel with them. I realized my stash was getting out of control so I started using some.
Coach Legacy – It was okay.
Coach Poppy Flower – Way too floral for me!
Couture La La – Juicy Couture – Not for me!
DKNY Golden Delicious – It was okay but still not a favorite.
Those are all of my empties for now ~ Thanks for stopping by Gracious Luck
