Quick Look ~ Mint Eyes { Sophisticated Angel }

Hi Loves!  I was inspired by the HSN St Patty’s nail art’s use of green and created another quick look.  I picked up this quad on Target clearance for a couple bucks but haven’t had a chance to play with it.  This is L’Oreal Colour Riche Quad in #827 Sophisticated Angel and its a mix of two light, frosty colors, and two darker colors.  Its hard to tell in the picture but the top color is a white/mint green, the second color down is a rich dark green, then a frosted rose gold color, and last a cool brown color.

For the look I used the suggestion on the package.  To begin with, I put my Kat Von D High Voltage Primer on.  Then I took the top color and put it all over the lid.  I packed it on a little heavier to get the mint green color to come through.  Next, I took the third color and put it along the brow bone.  After that I used the brown lightly in the crease and spent a little extra time blending it out.  Last I took a liner brush and used the green as a liner with a slight wing along the top, and half way across the bottom lash line and used the mint color for the inside half lash line.

I topped the look off with Maybelline The Rocket to make it look polished.

Thanks for stopping by Gracious Luck today!  What are your favorite colors for spring?

    • It really does! At first I was worried it’d be too “frosty” and that reminds of of bad 80’s blue eye shadow but this wasn’t that way and its fun to bring out some brighter colors instead of darker ones I’ve been using all winter.

  1. This is gorgeous! 🙂 I love the shimmer / sparkle it adds to your eye and the mascara is beautiful! Perfect, yet subtle, for St. Patty’s Day! My favorite spring colors are anything pastel!
