Quick Look ~ Clinique Jammin Duo

Hi Loves!  Today’s quick look features a couple products that I got in a gift with purchase from Herbergers (a Bon-Ton store) a few weeks ago.  I love Clinique gift’s with purchase because they are usually pretty good and include large samples that last quite a while.

First I used their All About Shadow Duo in #20 Jammin’.   I started with priming my eyelid, and then put the pink color on my lid and crease.  Then I took the purple and used it in the crease – this is quite pigmented – so I did a couple lighter layers to build it up slowly.  Last – I took the purple shadow and used it as a liner.  I put a slightly thick line/wing on my upper lashes, and half across my lower lash line to add some depth.   I love the pigmentation of Clinique’s eye shadows – they never disappoint me!

Also included in my gift set was a mascara duo that is their Lash Building Primer (white) and High Impact Mascara in 01 Black (black).  I’ve never used eyelash primer before so this was a first for me.  I curled my lashes, and then put the primer on, let it sit for a minute and then followed up with the mascara.  I LOVE the look it gave, the primer helped hold the curl better on my stubborn lashes.  It did take longer to dry but I like the effect it left behind.

Do you use Clinique products?  I really like their cosmetics and suggest checking them out next time you’re in a department store.

Do you have any eyelash primers to recommend?  I’m open to any recommendations.

Thanks for stopping by Gracious Luck today!

  1. Pretty! I have the eye shadow duo in Strawberry Fudge, which is pale pink and medium brown. I’ve always liked it! I’ve kind of been “re-discovering” Clinique over the last few months and I’m really happy because of it! 🙂

    • I LOVE Strawberry Fudge!! Its one I grab for all the time…it seems to be the perfect duo for me. 🙂 I got it originally as a gift with purchase, used it up, and bought a full size. I also have one called beach plum, check that one out, its another purple but paired with a gold and its stunning. 🙂

  2. Very pretty and feminine! I haven’t tried any clinique shadows before. The only lash primer i’ve tried was by mary kay, but I couldn’t tell much of a difference. 🙂
