Hi Loves! This summer I’ve been doing a lot of photography and all of my sessions are outdoors since I don’t have a studio. This year I was on the search for a new sunscreen that is cheaper than my favorite Shiseido Face Ultimate Sun Protection SPF 50 for $39.00 – and I’ve found one! I wouldn’t say its a dupe but I like it just as well.
Neutrogena® Sport Face Oil-Free Lotion Sunscreen SPF 70+ with Helioplex® Technology is specially formulated to withstand vigorous activities. It provides superior broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection that resists wear off from water, rubbing, sweat, or wiping.
-Broad Spectrum UVA/UVB
-Water Resistant (80min)
-Resists sweat off
-Won’t clog pores or cause breakouts
You know by now I have pretty fair skin. I used to loathe being pale and stupidly would try “sun tanning” but rarely had the attention span to pull it off. Now – I embrace the pale, and would rather have pale, protected skin, than run the risk of skin cancer or sun burn. (I burn, and if I’m lucky enough not to peel…it will turn to tan.)
I also have combination skin – most cheaper sunscreens or sunblock would make me break out – and in that cystic acne, painful way. This didn’t do that for me.
I have worn it several times this summer from volunteering in tornado relief areas to doing photo sessions in a field, and I’ve had great success with it. It also appears to be sweat proof which is huge during the summer months!!
It has a very light and clean scent that is only noticeable when I’m applying it – and it has a medium consistency.
Lastly – when it comes to wearing it, you do have to let it soak in for a few minutes before trying to put makeup over it otherwise it’ll stay an oily mess.
I am loving this sunscreen and if you have combo skin and looking to try something new, check this one out! Hopefully it works as well for you as it does me!
Thanks for stopping by Gracious Luck today!
