Hi Loves! So 9 weeks!!!! YAY! This has to be a new record for me – and I love that you are reading and even those who don’t read these posts – the thought of writing it keeps me going and motivated to keep moving forward. So last week was a bit of an emotional roller coaster for me and if you’ve been around for a while, you know that I tend to hold my emotions in, and then EAT. And mostly really unhealthy foods like chocolate.
After some encouraging words from my best friends – I got it together and moved on. However…I gained a couple pounds. So last weeks post about an all time low isn’t as relevant. BUT – I’ll say that in a week – I gained 3 pounds…and then lost 2 – so I’m only one pound over my low. Some times this weight game is so exhausting! I’ll stick to my guns – on seeing progress in your measurements and inches because holy cow! I can’t wait to share with you my 4 month update in a couple weeks. I did my measurements last week and was shocked by a couple. 🙂 Maybe you won’t be as impressed but I’m excited for seeing progress!
Now – the back challenge was picked up and I kept going. Confession – I have now been skipping the superman because some how I’ve managed to aggravate an old injury in my lower back and it was really stiff and sore for a few days. I’m now focused on kicking ass at flies – bridge pullovers – and rows. I still love the feeling of the bridge pull overs as I can really feel it working my arms and thighs. I’ve also seen improvement in my measurements on my thigh and upper arms. If you’re curious – here’s a recap of the weights I’m using – I did modify slightly from the beginning. As I’m writing this its (Tuesday) Day 21 – I did 80 reverse flies using 2 pound weights in each hand, 80 bridge pullovers with 5 pound weights in each hand, and 60 rows with 5 pound weights in each hand. I’m now debating buying another set of dumbbells that are a little heavier for the next challenge.
I’m already looking for a new 30 day challenge – I’ll let you know what that will be in a few weeks! Thanks for reading this week’s update! 🙂
