NOTE: My bottle was shipped in limited edition packaging that was back stock from the holidays.  Radha assures me that it is the same quality as their standard black packaging that you will get if you purchase the product.

My Thoughts:

  1. I LOVE this packaging!  I cannot stand any skincare product that comes in a pot that you have to dip your fingers into in order to use it.  This has a pump and while a full pump of the product is WAY too much for me, its also easy to get just a dab.  For usage – I feel that a small pea sized amount is more than enough for both eyes.
  2. I also love a gel product for my face.  I have combo oily/dry skin and some heavy creams (including eye creams) can make my crabby skin break out.  This is lightweight and has a slight scent of cucumber.
  3. I haven’t noticed any improvement to my really dark circles but I wasn’t expecting miracles because I’m fair skinned and my dark circles are in the blue/purple family.  However my under eye area is feeling moisturized and I like the cooling effect from the gel. I’ve used the gel morning and night for about 2 weeks.
  4. One side effect I’ve experienced.  The product can make my eyes itchy if I get it too close to my lashes.  Some people apply eye creams and gels to their entire eye area.  My eyes have always been quite sensitive and this product makes them seriously itchy if I get it too close to my lash line.  I’ve experimented with this and realized that this product was the culprit.  I’m not against the gel but I wanted to let you know about this experience.

Bottom Line:  I like it!  I’ve experimented with various eye creams from brands like Tarte, Origins, Clinique, Roc, and others.  This is right up there with them all and at a fraction of the price!  Since I’m lucky enough to have few lines around my eyes I view using an eye cream or gel as a preventive measure for future lines and wrinkles!  I also love that since its a gel it absorbs almost immediately.

If you are looking for something good for oily or combination skin I’d totally suggest this – and if you place an order of $35 or more on amazon it qualifies for FREE shipping!

Whats your favorite eye cream or gel?  I’m always looking for products that might actually help with my dark circles!

Thanks for stopping by Gracious Luck ~ have a wonderful day!

I love gels! I have several eye gels and face gels, and they are my favorites! I’ll remember this one to try in the future

Ahh eye gels and creams are something I’m always searching for! I’m a big fan of Acure Organics Eye Cream, Ole Henriksen Truth Peel for the eyes, ROC Retinol Eye Cream and if my under eyes are feeling really dry, I love the Rosa Artica Eye Cream from Kiehl’s! I’ll have to look into the product you talked about because I LOVE trying new eye products!

I’ve heard a lot of great things about the Acure brand, I’ve been wanting to try it for a while, their eye cream sounds like a great place to start!

Ugh, combination skin is the absolute worst. I feel your pain! I personally can’t put eye creams too close to my eyes, either. My eyes are sensitive, so if I get anything in them, they tend to burn a little and/or water like crazy. I’m using Adovia’s Eye Gel right now and I really like it, though!

Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll check into that brand – its really frustrating some times to find an eye cream or gel that won’t make me break out or make my eyes itchy and teary! Glad to know I’m not the only one who faces that! 🙂

Ah, I haven’t used any eye gels.. I normally use Lancome Progres, but I do also like Dr. Lance Eye Contour Lifting Cream.. I might have to try eye gels out in the future! 🙂

I really like the origins one but the pot is my issue! Sensitive eyes and skin for that fact is so hard to shop for – I get jealous of people who can use whatever on their skin and its perfectly fine! 🙂
