Hi Loves! I’m now in the middle of my 30 day squat challenge. Its rough! I do have to confess that I modified it a little bit. Instead of doing 3 or 4 reps each day I’m only doing 2…so far its working out well and I can still feel the burn in my thighs!
Each day the number per rep changes and I like mixing it up. Some days I will do the correct number of reps but most days its pretty intense on my second rep so instead of pushing myself into burnout – I’m taking it slow and steady.
I’ve also gone back to my goal of trying to get 10,000 steps a day in most days. I say most days because some times its hard to meet commitments and still get my steps in but I’m trying. I love seeing over 10,000 steps on my vivofit at the end of the day.
This week I’m still stuck at my same weight but I’ve added in a couple days of free weights to help burn more calories and keep building muscle. Food choices are still important and I’m focusing on finding foods that I like and that keep me feeling full. Fruit has really been my go to these past two weeks – I like having an apple mid morning at work to break up the morning and I’m not hangry come lunch!
Otherwise – I know plateaus happen so I’m just going to keep moving forward and hopefully I’ll keep improving on my numbers.
