Maple Holistics Shampoo & Conditioner

Hi Loves!  This review is LONG overdue!  I apologize on not writing any new reviews for you all lately.  I’ve kind of taken a step back these past couple months and focused on where I wanted my blog to be going.  I’ve kept my focus on my GL Gets Fit posts because they are important to me and help keep my accountable.  However – makeup and beauty is still a big part of who I am – so will continue some posts on my favorite products.

Back in November or December – Maple Holistics reached out to me asking if I’d like to try a shampoo and conditioner from their line.  I tend to be picky about hair products because while my hair is thick, it is quite fine textured.  Many products can weigh my hair down or cause buildup easily.  However – I loved learning about this company and jumped at trying something they make.

Products I tried: Winter Blend Haircare Set (Winter Blend Shampoo & Conditioner)

  • Special for the holiday season, Winter Blend shampoo is available for the winter season only! While supplies last.
  • 2-Pack! Set includes one 8oz bottle of Winter Blend Limited Edition Shampoo and one 8oz bottle of Silk18 Conditioner.
  • Limited Edition Winter Blend formula contains five mint varieties, including Peppermint, Spearmint, Eucalyptus Mint, Bergamot Mint, and Wild Mint for a unique and aromatic minty-fresh experience that will leave your hair feeling cool and refreshed.
  • Winter Blend conditioner contains nature’s most effective and highest quality ingredients to treat dry, damaged and broken hair. Includes eighteen different silk amino acids, argan oil, jojoba oil, botanical keratin, sea buckthorn, pomegranate, aloe, and more.

My thoughts:

If you like the scent of mint – you will LOVE this!  It is quite minty and refreshing!  I enjoy using mint hair care products because I really love that tingly feeling you get in the shower!  The shampoo is sulfate free so there isn’t much lather, if that is important to you, you won’t care for this.  After making the switch to sulfate free shampoo a few years ago – I’ve grown to really like it!

The conditioner isn’t as heavy as some that I like – BUT it leaves my hair feeling super soft and not weighed down.  The scent also lingers, I typically wash my hair at night, and can still smell some mint when I wake up the next morning as I’m getting ready.

I’ve used the shampoo and conditioner at least once or twice weekly since I got the products in December and I really like them!  In fact – I have pretty long hair (below my shouders) and I still have about half a bottle left.  Although – to be totally honest – I like this enough that I’ve been rationing it a little! 🙂

I cannot thank Maple Holistics enough for introducing me to their line – it has been a wonderful new addition to my winter hair care routine!
