Valentia True Glow Eye Cream & Ultra Plumping Hydration Mask {review}

Hi Loves!  My wonderful friends at Valentia asked me a while back if I would like to try a new eye cream and hydration mask.  Since I love their Even Glow Serum {reviewed here} – I wanted to jump at the opportunity to try more products. *Disclaimer – Valentia sent me these products for free, I did not purchase them but my opinion of the products are honest.*

First up the True Glow Eye Cream $25.00 at Amazon
Product Description:

Say goodbye to tired eyes. This nourishing formula works fast to repair and refresh the eye area while protecting skin from the usual suspects of aging. Our natural and organic ingredients work to calm and reduce puffiness in the eye area revealing softer, more refreshed looking eyes. With continued use of this antioxidant treatment, you will start noticing a more rejuvenated, radiant, and brighter under eye area.

My Thoughts:
I’ve been using this for a few weeks.  I’ve enjoyed the nice lightweight consistency and it absorbs super fast.  It has a peachy color that isn’t noticeable on my skin once I pat it in.  There is also a very slight citrus scent that you can’t even smell after you start applying it.  A small issue in application – one pump is almost too much and with the design of the pump its near impossible to get half a pump of product (I simply use one pump for both eyes).  However – it has been great at moisturizing my eyes and making them feel more awake.  I have pretty crazy dark circles and this didn’t correct them but I seriously doubt any cream product on the market will. (They are hereditary and the blue/purple kind!) I’m okay with that knowing that the skin around my eyes is probably the most moisturized it has ever been!

Next Product – the Ultra Plumping Hydration Mask $25.00 at Amazon
Product Description:

The perfect answer to your dry skin problems. This hydration mask features a unique blend of amino acids and potent antioxidants, like Japanese Green tea and Aloe Vera, to reduce fine lines, increase collagen production, and fight environmental irritants. Botanical Hyaluronic  Acid, Vitamin E, and Sea Buckthorn Oil flood skin with vital moisture, creating softer more supple skin. Treat your delicate facial skin with nature’s most nourishing ingredients, and instantly restore radiance.

My Thoughts:
I was skeptical about this because I have combination skin and some products designed for dry skin are too “heavy” or “greasy” causing my face to turn into an oil slick.  This tub of orange jiggly jello looking cream is awesome!  There is a very slight citrus scent again but pretty minimal and goes away fairly quickly.  The mask itself  is almost like a gel consistency and I do notice a tiny bit of tingling when I apply it but soon after it goes away.  I have tried both thicker and thinner applications of the mask.  I prefer thinner because I don’t feel like I’m wasting product and its easy to clean off.  I left it on for 30 minutes and was amazed at how much plumper some of my skin looked.  Granted once I washed the dried on product off with water it didn’t look as plump but my skin felt super soft and amazing.

BOTTOM LINE –
I am seriously loving these products.  The eye cream is great for helping keep my eyes moisturized, I’ve been using it twice daily for a couple weeks and barely made a dent in the product. The mask has become one of my new favorites that I’ve used a few times already.  Its perfect for a chill night and its not messy or crazy colored like some.  When I go to wash it off there is an orange tint to my skin but its hardly noticeable and comes off immediately.

I also LOVE that Valentia products are vegan friendly, cruelty free, and 98% natural.  This is a wonderful line of products and I cannot recommend them enough.  Please check them out some time and let me know what you think!
