Hi Loves! This week’s quote is a bit misleading. If you know me, you know I really do not like vegetables! 🙂 However – since being run down with an infection, I’ve been focusing on getting rest, drinking more water, and eating better.
I mentioned last week I was going to a follow up appointment with my doctor. Well… I was still pretty sick with it. More medicine and rest for this girl. Note to self…maybe after a month or two of feeling crummy you should go to a doctor! 🙂
However – for my weekly weigh in I was surprised. I did it four times to be sure. I’ve been stuck hovering between a pound to half a pound in either direction for weeks. In fact – in looking back at my tracker – I haven’t been this weight since… JULY?! What?! I’ll take it. Since last week I lost 3.5 pounds. Maybe my chocolate milk (instant breakfast) and oatmeal breakfasts are finally starting to pay off. Either way I was surprised and excited! And I lost weight over a holiday weekend. Thats the craziest part of the story.
When I started GL gets fit a couple of years ago anxiety was hitting me pretty hard. Assuming I’m feeling more human by the end of the week, I’m going back to something I did just a couple months in to this experiment. I’m considering doing 30 days of yoga in December. Following my favorite yogi Adriene for a few weeks might be the mental reset that I need to end this year on a positive note.
