Hi Loves! Another week has come and gone and I haven’t done too much in terms of working out but I’ve made a ton of progress on some projects and that leaves me feeling much better about things.
In the 2 + years of writing these weekly posts, I’ve noticed a pattern. When I set a goal that I need to achieve at my own at my own pace and I tell you all about it, I fail 90% of the time. What’s up with that? Yoga with Adriene every January goes well but I get a daily email that sets up the day’s video and reminds me to stick with it. When I need the self-discipline to do something on my own, I make it maybe a week. Occasionally I’ve done some challenges that I end up telling you about after, and those work. So I’m sort of doing one that I got in an email, when it’s up I’ll tell you how it went.
Also Sunday I picked up some free weights and did a 5 minute arm workout. Wowza… I only used 5lb weights but dang my shoulders and arms could feel it yesterday! I forgot how much I like using weights and I do hope to get back into a yoga routine soon. Things are settling down and I hope to spend some evenings with Adrienne again soon!
That said – lets get to the last bit of my weekly posts. No change on my weight. Considering I ate out Saturday night with friends and ate a ton of cheesy goodness, I’m okay with no gain or loss. 🙂 I hope you have a wonderful week friends! xo
