GL Gets Fit #139 {steps}

 : Hi Loves, this week I’ve been focusing on just getting a few more steps in every day.  I’m still not always making the best food choices but I’m attempting to walk more.

I mentioned last week that I’m working on a challenge.  Well its about steps.  I started over last week because I got off track and distracted.  So far… I’m on track to complete it.  Once done, I’ll let you know all about it!

This past week was a bit of a challenge for me food wise because I ate some really delicious things but they were by no means good for me! 🙂  I also caved and ate some chocolate along the way.  I gained exactly one pound.  Meh… I’m not working all that hard on losing weight at the moment.  I’ve decided to refocus my attention on getting back into healthy habits.  Like walking more, or doing yoga.  Get myself back into doing some sort of exercise daily.  That could be anything – I just need to do something.

I’ve also been working more on part time jobs and projects and that helps keep me busy and less bored. Sometimes my boredom leads to eating bad things!  My current goal for the week is to complete this challenge I’m on and then move on to something new.  Since I’ve gotten back into getting my steps in… I thought I’d share this graphic I found about how good walking is for us.  Plus, you can do it at home and its… free!! 🙂
