GL Gets Fit #141 {patience}

You can lose weight and keep it off if you follow these 10 tips!: Happy Tuesday Loves!  I hope you had a wonderful weekend and if you celebrated a delightful Easter.

I did indulge on some treats this weekend and spent time reconnecting with family and it was wonderful.  That being said I didn’t lose any weight.  And…for the 3rd week in a row I didn’t gain.  I’ve been exactly the same for 3 weeks.  Exactly the same.  I even moved the scale around my kitchen… still the same! Rather then dwell on this plateau I’m going to just go with it.

Friday night and Saturday at my mom’s found me fighting some intense back pain that I don’t remember having before.  I think I explained it as someone shove knives in my back and then when I’d move they’d twist the knives.  I thought since it was sudden thing, a trip to the local doctor might be a good idea.  Luckily my check up came back clear, I just had some crazy muscle spasms.  Most likely from sitting at a desk 8+ hours a day.  Three days later and it’s better but at the end of the day it reminds me that I’m not over it yet!  I’m working on moving more, doing some stretches for my back and some exercises the doctor suggested.  Basically my lower back muscles just got weak and finally said…enough is enough, you need to fix us!  (Do your muscles talk to you too?!) 🙂

I’m taking it easy and am looking forward to a much needed girls night with one of my best friends this weekend and even though I have a stacked week, I’m going to attempt taking it easy.
