Hi Loves! This past week was another busy one for me. I’m looking forward to having evenings to myself in a couple weeks. I knew I’d have a busy spring, so I’m just taking things day by day.
Like usual, I didn’t really work out. I got some steps in, but I had a girls day and had some wine and delicious food. Girls days are really great to just hit the pause button on life for a bit and reconnect.
This morning for my weigh in for the first time in 3 weeks the scale changed. I gained half a pound. Considering that I ate a lot of heavy food and had some drinks, it’s not a fail. It’s…meh.
I realized this morning that I’m in this place where I’ve been feeling tired, dragging, exhausted, and when I get home from work, I want to lay around or go to bed. This week I’m setting an intention. Granted tonight is shot I have a long meeting, but starting tomorrow (Wed-Mon) I’d like to complete 2 yoga sessions before my next post. They can be long or short, but they will get done. I know in January my yoga challenge had me feeling really great mentally & physically. I need to get back to that girl. I’m also working this weekend but that isn’t a big deal, this part time job is actually fun and quite rewarding.
Today my friends – it’s back to basics. The next 24 hours is all I need to focus on. I want to make smart choices regarding food, and do yoga twice this week. I hope you have a wonderful week! 🙂
