GL Gets Fit #144 {Angry Thighs!!!}

And not the other way around : Hi Loves!  So there is good news and bad news this week.  Which should I share first?  I’m going to share the bad news first.  It’s been a stressful weekend.  Stress = eating.  I was craving chocolate a lot this weekend and I ate some.  And… I gained just shy of 2 pounds. 😦   I think that is one area that yoga helped me with.  Controlling my stress and being able to check it at the yoga mat and put it past me.  I haven’t been able to do that for a couple months.

How about some good news?  I completed 8 days of the 31 day Squat, Lunge, and Push up challenge!!  Man it took me 4 days of hardly being able to walk because my thighs were angry to get to a point where they are just randomly annoyed but not killing me!  Squats have yet to be my problem.  It’s the lunges that get me, every single time!!!

When I started I could do about 2 lunges on each side and pause, then 2 more, etc.  Sunday I got to 8 lunges (16 total) before I had to pause.  The challenge has me putting my knee to the floor, and I do one on each leg.  Left, Right, left, right instead of doing all one side and then another.

I’ve been taking angry thigh pictures just to see if I notice any change. (Day 2 and Day 8)  I doubt I will but it will be interesting to see if I can tell anything changed.

How about you, do you like squats, lunges, or push ups?  The push ups are a bit hard too but the lunges are my current problem area!
