Hi Loves, finally a more positive post. After a couple weeks of focusing on self-care and getting to the root of my issues, I think I’m ready to get up and do some sort of exercise. I’m not going to jinx it but this week I want to just work out 3 times. It could be yoga, walking, dancing.. who knows. But 3 is my goal. I’ll let you know next week how that goes!
I’m focusing on baby steps. Setting small goals that I can meet for a while before I change anything. I’m also doing an anxiety journal challenge. Thirty days of writing answers to prompts – I’m at the two week mark and it seems to be helping me just take some of the things bouncing around in my brain and put them on paper. Sort of like a brain dump if you’re familiar with those.
To wrap up this week’s update – I had a wonderful weekend with one of my best friends and family. Some times, talking things out with one of your closest friends helps put things in perspective. Right now, I feel like I’m moving in the right direction for my anxiety and just taking things one day at a time. I also ate incredibly delicious and unhealthy fair food, AND lost half a pound. I’m going to take that as a win!
