Hi Loves! This post is a little different. The last couple of weeks I’ve been working more and more with my part time job. However – I haven’t had a weekend off in over a month. How do you balance work and life with more than one job?
You might notice that in September I was going to do no-spendtember. A no buy month in September. Well… I fell into a tiny rabbits hole. (More on that Friday!… shameless plug…) I typically was able to make up for a busy week by doing yoga on my weekends. However – I’m bummed to admit that last week I did ONE. And I did it last night. 😦 I do have every intention on getting another yoga session in tonight and a few other nights this week since I have zero planned after work (except tonight).
Last night I chose a very relaxed session. I woke up during the night Sunday with neck pain and what felt like an impending migraine. Thank god I got up, took something, and was able to head it off. So last night (Monday) I took it easy. I focused on a gentle session targeting my neck and shoulders. It was delightful, and I’m hoping tonight to do another gentle yoga practice that will stretch some tight spots.
So lets get to the important part of the post. For 3 weeks in a row, I’ve stayed exactly the same. Considering that I’ve been on the road for work this past weekend (nearly 50 minutes each way) and not eating the smartest, I’m going to take that as success. I want to focus back on eating better this week and getting good protein as that is always my shortfall.
