A couple weeks ago I got an email about a new program that I can join for free through my health insurance. It includes weekly check-ins, meal plans, exercise plans, trackers, and all sorts of things. Its called Real Appeal.
Last night was my first official week 1 meeting. (There was a welcome session last week.) Its just sort of talking about how our week went, and setting goals that we can actually do. The best part – its online, so I can do it from home and on my own time frame. Last week I set the intention to do 3 days of yoga for 30 minutes. I did it!
This week – I set the goal for 4 days of yoga. (We’ll see how that goes!) For me the hard part is getting back into the swing of committing time to do something every day. Its easy to push yoga aside. I also want to get back into getting my “steps” in. Maybe within a few months – back up to 10,000 steps a day!!
Health wise, my body is still on a bit of a roller coaster, but fingers crossed its starting to level off! 🙂 The past week was a difficult one that had a migraine thrown in the mix. However, I’m tracking patterns and hopefully fining what is triggering some of my issues.
Lastly – I lost exactly a pound. Considering that I’ve been feeling a bit like a zombie, I’m okay with that. I want to get better, get in better shape, and feel better overall. To do that, I need to just embrace myself as is. Its ok to be all over the place. I have to just get back into my groove and everything will work out in the end.
