Happy Tuesday night Loves!
First fail, last week was pure craziness and I didn’t get around to writing a post. I worked a ton and then went out of town for the three day weekend. Getting away from work was a nice way to reset.
Last week I got my first taste of how crazy my job can get. It was about a 13 hour day but in the end, everything worked out, and I succeeded. (WIN!)
I mentioned that I was trying to get more steps in, and if it’s not raining (unlike today) I will park a bit farther away and get a few more steps in. However, today was a day of pouring rain and it sucked!! So last week I gained a pound and a half, this morning at my weigh in, I lost it. So I guess I’m back to my weight 2 weeks ago! However a pound one way or the other isn’t that big of a deal. I’m staying in my consistent place without working out.
However, if you read the headline of this post – I mention a trainer?! You all know how “frugal” I am, so how can I have a trainer? Well thanks to my job, I get a sort of intern until December to work with. I met him today and I think we’ll get along great. I want go get back into lifting and have access to a gym for free. So it seems like a win-win situation! Plus, he’ll set me up on a program and its only $25! And he’ll be with me working out at least twice a week. In a perfect world, I’m going to kick off next week with doing 3 days of yoga and 2 days with my trainer. I want to get back into yoga and it will be a nice supplement to lifting. Next week will also be crazy busy, but it’ll be ok and all work out in the end.
Until then, I was up 1.5lb and then down 1.5lb, and I’m just hoping to have a good first training session on Thursday on my lunch break! Wish me luck! :O 🙂
