GL Gets Fit #213 {sore & sweaty}

I’m now officially 2.5 weeks into working out with my trainer.  Today’s workout was rough.  We did weights for about 30 minutes and then finished with 10 minutes on a stair climber.  I’m not even going to lie, I wasn’t sure how I was going to make it after 2 minutes I wanted to quit.  But he kept by my side, kept talking to me, and we got thru it.

However, I finished, and probably did 10 minutes on the slowest setting or dang close to it but I didn’t quit.  That was one thing where I had to get over it in my own mind.  Just take things slow and steady.

This week I’m also down about half a pound!  That was nice to see on the scale Tuesday morning! 🙂  I know its not much, but I think I might be getting more tone in my arms and legs.  I feel stronger and stronger each week and I keep staring at the 35 lb dumbbells and hope I’m able to curl them come December (fingers crossed!).  I want to look legit in the weight room and not using baby dumbbells.
