GL Gets Fit #215 {old school}

Get Stronger.Happy Sunday loves!  I hope you’ve had a fantastic week!  This past week my trainer took me back to my high school days.  We lifted like I lifted in high school.  I was in weight lifting competitions in high school.  This week, we did squats, bench and deadlifts.  It was fun to get back into my groove.

My 17 year old self would be so disappointed but hey, that was the first time in 17 years that I’ve also done those lifts.  It was fun and exhausting, especially when we ended the day with 10 minutes of the stair climber. 😦  This girl was toast!

My second workout of the week found me not feeling great.  I had an angry tummy for one reason or another, I’m still not sure what it was, and it’s still lingering a bit but I’m just going to keep getting rest and workout tomorrow regardless.  There’s a bug floating around at work, and working long days isn’t helping me any.  I think November is my month to cut back on my part time job a bit more.  I picked up a lot of extra 2 hour shifts here and there but November my job will change a bit more so I need to remember to take care of myself.

Last week I lost a pound but I’m just going with things and randomly over-indulge!  This week it was candy corn!  I know its one of those things either people love or hate, but every fall I have to buy a bag or two and eat a bit here and there.  Then come November, I’m usually over it until next fall!
