GL Gets Fit #208 {finding my groove}

 Happy Sunday Loves!

It seems that Sunday is my posting day of the moment.  But it just works for now.  The good news is I’m finally getting into my new groove.  I’ve been at my new job for 4 weeks now, and I’m starting to find where I fit in the mix.

I went from a job where I worked directly with about 5 people, to a job where I work directly with… at least 20, but there are a bunch of people working behind the scenes that I don’t have a lot of interaction with.  In fact, give me a couple weeks and that number will likely double! Yes, this is a 205.5 edition of my blog series! 🙂  Last week and so far the weekend have gotten away from me!  I may modify the post date of these, to another day, or you might see a new one on Tuesday! We’ll see! 🙂

I had intentions of working out this week but honestly, I took the week off.  It might seem silly that I’m putting this much emphasis on a job change but its not doing the same job at a different company.  It’s a job taking me down a whole new road.  Continue reading

As I’m closing in on my final week at my job and a company I’ve been with over a decade :O… its overwhelming.  I’m being pulled in several directions helping a company that solely relied on me to do a million things. I think its now dawning on them, that this time next week, my office will be empty, and they’ll have to figure things out on their own.

Its also a bittersweet week.  I’m excited for my new adventure but I’m also nervous leaving essentially the only place I’ve ever known professionally.
