Weekend Mani ~ Sally Hansen Triple Shine {sparkling water}

IMG_20140302_124835_124Hi Loves!  I’m back with a weekend mani!  After a few weeks of trying to help my nails get re-hydrated and back to somewhat normal, I decided despite a weekend snow storm that I wanted some summery nails!  This is a polish I picked up a few weeks ago at Target when they were on sale for around $4.

Here’s Sally Hansen’s Triple Shine in Sparkling Water – It is quite sheer and I wanted my mani to look like the bottle so I did a base coat of Julep Nellie (Navy Blue) and two thin coats of Sparkling Water.  I tacked on a top coat for good measure and am looking forward to kicking off March with some blue green sparkle nail polish!

Have you tried these polishes?  I have two others that I haven’t worn yet but will soon!

Christmas Party Manicure

PicsArt_1386517703956I had my first Christmas Party on Friday night, and wanted some “festive” red nails.  I was going through my collection of polishes and found one that I completely forgot about!  Its Sally Hansen Hard As Nails in #470 Unbreakable Heart.  I’ve had this for a couple years so I’m not sure if its still available in stores.  Some of the Sally Hansen Hard As Nails polish have been hit and miss for me.  Some are so shear it drives me crazy, however this polish was impressive with two coats.  I was in a rush so didn’t spend too much time getting a flawless manicure but it turned out okay in the end!  As far as wear goes, a couple days later and my tips are worn but it was less than $2 a bottle with a coupon – at that price – I’m okay with some average wear! Weekend Mani ~ Sally Hansen Lacquer Shine

PicsArt_1381679705338

This weekend’s mani is staying with last weekend’s dark and vampy trend!  I forgot I had this color until I was re-organizing my polishes yesterday and stumbled upon this one!  This comes off in pictures as black but in person and in the light its a deep brown with burgundy shimmer in it.  It is stunning in the light and I wish it would have photographed better for you!  I can only find that is color #08 – Glossy.  I am loving these dark colors for fall and Halloween time.
